Dear Fellow Blog Readers:
Jerry and I had planned to take Jackie, our 9-year old grand daughter on a vacation this summer as we were sure about a positive outcome and recovery with his new kidney.
So, in living up to our word, Jackie and I are packing and going away for a couple of weeks.

- My husband passed away in February 2007. If I had known about the matching and non-matching donor kidney transplant program at Johns Hopkins Hospital two years ago, he might have had a better survival chance.
